The 2008 Broadblue 415 is a 41-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin 60 hp Volvo inboard diesel engines. Built on a solid hull design, this catamaran combines seaworthiness with a wide 22-foot beam that provides stability and generous interior volume for its size.
The yacht features an electric windlass for anchor handling and a custom solar rack with davit system mounted on the stern. The accommodations layout offers ample space for extended cruising, with interior areas designed for comfort during time at sea. An onboard water maker produces 30 gallons per hour, supporting extended passages away from shore.
Recent upgrades include a complete Raymarine electronics suite installed in 2024, comprising 24-mile Doppler radar, depth sounder, wind speed sensor, chart plotter, and autopilot. A 10 kW Northern Lights generator powers three air conditioning units. The electrical system includes three AGM batteries with 720 amp hours of capacity and solar panels generating 1,300 amp hours to maintain systems while anchored. An AIS transponder provides collision avoidance capability in traffic separation schemes. The hull received fresh bottom paint in November 2024.
