This is hull number 9 of the Bruckmann 50 MKII series, one of only 11 built. The design features an integral swim platform and extended waterline. The fiberglass hull is finished in silver-gray Awlgrip with varnished brightwork, and the interior is appointed with Herreshoff white surfaces and gloss-varnished mahogany trim throughout.
The accommodation plan includes two staterooms plus a TV den and library space that includes an additional berth. The galley is open and well-lit, with a large refrigerator and separate freezer. The pilothouse provides a U-shaped settee around a height-adjustable table, with two easy chairs opposite—one converts to an inside helmsman's chair at the steering station.
A single 200 hp John Deere diesel engine powers the yacht for long-distance cruising. The boat is equipped with lithium battery banks, air conditioning, generator, inverter, bow thruster, and Starlink connectivity. Navigation systems include recent Garmin electronics. The sails are new Doyle canvas with a furling boom. Two heads complete the systems package.
