2008 Cabo 38 Express

This 2008 Cabo 38 Express is a 40-foot sportfish powered by twin MAN diesel engines producing 1,600 horsepower. The boat runs at cruising speeds around 31 knots with a maximum speed of 39 knots. With only 900 hours on the engines, the yacht has seen light use relative to its age.

The electronics package has been substantially upgraded with a full suite of modern displays: twin 16-inch multifunction displays, twin 7-inch displays, a 12-inch display on the helm, and a 12-inch display on the tower. Navigation and fish-finding capability is supported by a new six-foot Halo radar system with 96-mile range. The boat also features a new autopilot system and new JBL audio equipment.

Recent maintenance includes new bottom paint applied in June 2024 and new underwater lighting. The fiberglass hull and overall condition reflect consistent care and upkeep over the boat's operating life.
