The 2008 Cranchi Mediterranee 43 is a fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 diesel engines producing 880 horsepower combined. The boat measures 45 feet in length with a 13.5-foot beam. The IPS system includes joystick docking control for ease of handling. Cruising speed runs at 30 knots with a maximum speed of 35 knots.
Between 2022 and 2025, the boat underwent substantial mechanical and systems upgrades. The port engine received a new long block with 75 hours of operation; the starboard engine shows 1,200 hours. Both IPS pods were rebuilt with upgraded stainless steel intermediary rings. New props and prop shafts were installed along with replacement upper units, superchargers, turbos, alternators, starters, and battery charger. A fresh bottom job was completed, and a hydraulic pump with new fittings and Racor fuel filters were fitted.
The helm and entertainment spaces were modernized with a full Raymarine electronics suite including an Axiom Pro multifunction display, Evolution 2 autopilot, Quantum radar, and Ray90 VHF radio. The cockpit received new seating, a Bimini top, a grill, a refrigerator, and an ice maker. Underwater lights were added. Interior upgrades included a Fusion stereo system with JL Audio speakers and three Roku-enabled smart televisions. Original Cranchi crockery is included with the boat.
