2008 Custom Trimaran Polynésie 42

This 42-foot trimaran was designed by Philippe Rivière and built with a strip-planked epoxy hull at its center and foldable, removable carbon outriggers. The composite construction delivers a seaworthy, unsinkable platform suited to shallow-water cruising, with a draft of just 0.9 meters. Powered by a single 37 hp Nanni diesel engine, the boat balances efficiency with the speed expected of modern multihull design.

The layout includes three cabins—one double and two single—plus a head and shower. Storage and living space benefit from the wide 30-foot beam, making the interior both practical and comfortable for extended cruising. Solar panels rated at over 430 watts provide onboard power generation, while dual freshwater tanks hold 240 liters total.

A complete sail plan is aboard in good condition. The standing rigging was replaced in 2020. Navigation and engine instrumentation are installed and functional. A 2020 refit addressed core systems, and the boat remains ready for the water.
