The 2008 Doral Alegria is a 49-foot cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta D6-435D IPS diesel engines with joystick control. Built in fiberglass with a beam of nearly 14 feet, this boat ran exclusively in freshwater Great Lakes waters and carries 375 hours on the engines. The design balances cruising comfort with entertaining space, centered around a walkthrough to a spacious cockpit lounge fitted with a freshwater sink, bar top, stainless steel electric grill, refrigerator, and icemaker. The helm is equipped with Raymarine Axim multi-function navigation (GPS, radar, depth), engine monitoring, and a Raytheon RAY-240 VHF radio.
Below, the galley occupies the port side and includes a Nova Cool refrigerator and freezer, stainless steel microwave, coffee maker, two-burner Force 10 electric cooktop with hood vent, and extensive overhead storage. The forward cabin has a berth, television, stereo, closets, and an adjoining head with shower. The midship VIP cabin spans the full width, featuring a double bed with recessed LED lighting, desk with stool, ample storage, a vacuum-flushing toilet, and shower. An LG washer-dryer combination unit in this cabin has never been used. The boat sleeps across two cabins with two heads total.
Climate control includes three air conditioning units, and power is supplied by a diesel Onan generator that shows only 66 hours of use. Additional features include a TNT hydraulic swim platform for convenient docking access and an anchor windlass with 100 feet of galvanized chain.
