The 2008 Formula 45 Yacht is a 48-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta D-6 diesel engines producing 870 horsepower. The IPS drive system includes updated joystick control that simplifies maneuvering and docking at slow speeds. The engines show approximately 880 hours of operation, while the IPS drives, installed in 2021, have logged fewer than 200 hours. The boat cruises at 25 knots and includes a 30,000 BTU air conditioning system for the cockpit.
The yacht features two heads and multiple air conditioning zones throughout the interior. A full detailing was completed in May. The boat is equipped with updated electronics from 2023 including two 12-inch Raymarine Axiom+ displays, Raymarine Magnum radar, engine display with autopilot control, updated GPS antenna, and a FLIR thermal camera. A new transducer was installed in 2024.
Recent upgrades include a new Zip Wake trim tab system installed in 2024, new bottom paint applied in 2024, and all three air conditioning systems completely replaced in 2024 with water-cooled water pumps and new seawater strainers. Battery chargers were upgraded in 2025, and all batteries and alternators are new. The turbo was rebuilt, and the cockpit received new upholstery with skins from Formula. A new galley features a microwave, convection oven, and air fryer, along with a new cockpit refrigerator and ice maker. CO2 detectors and a new vacuum generator for the master head were also installed in 2024.
