The Gozzard 41 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built in 2008. Fitted in 2019 with a Beta 60 diesel engine paired with ZF marine gearing and an Aquadrive anti-vibration coupling, she cruises at 5.65 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 6.95 knots. The boat has been substantially customized and upgraded from the original build, featuring a bow thruster, 5kW Onan generator, 10 GPH watermaker, extra fuel tank, electric winches, and in-mast furling. Shore power connections are installed at bow and stern.
The interior has been enhanced with upgraded finishes and accommodations. Recent improvements include a new Raritan Elegance head, replacement of all running rigging, new full vertical-batten radial-cut mainsail and radial-cut topsail, and replacement of the house battery bank with industrial lead-acid units. A custom Stratoglass enclosure with integrated sun and insect screen covers the cockpit.
Additional upgrades include Awlgrip hull coatings, new cushions in the forward cabin and navigation station settee, and replacement of communications, navigation, and entertainment systems. The boat has received consistent professional maintenance throughout her ownership.
