2008 Grady-White Release 283

This 28-foot Grady-White Release 283 is a twin-engine sportfish built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Yamaha 250 hp four-stroke engines power the boat, each with 930 hours of operation. The hull is reported in good condition.

The boat is equipped with a comprehensive electronics suite installed in 2021, including dual Furuno TZT3 12-inch multifunction displays, a DRS4D NXT radar dome, NAVpilot-300 autopilot, and an SCX20 satellite compass. A new Fusion radio with Bluetooth and satellite capability integrates with the Furuno system via NEMA 2000 backbone. Two VHS radios, fixed and remote control spotlights, and spreader lights with Black Oak LED forward and aft complete the electrical package. Three Group 27 batteries were replaced in 2021 and 2024.

The cockpit features a hardtop with integrated speakers, storage, and hand grabs. Rod holders, outriggers, and a casting platform suit offshore fishing. The boat includes a 45-gallon live well, tackle drawers, and gear storage. A leaning post with new cushions, raw water washdown, and bilge pumps support fishing operations. Below, there is an electric head with 10-gallon capacity and a 20-gallon freshwater system with sink and shower console.

Additional equipment includes trim tabs, power-assisted steering, a windlass, an integrated swim ladder, and a rear tuna door. Fuel capacity is 205 gallons. The boat comes with front and side curtains to the gunwale and new leaning post cushions.
