The 2008 Hatteras 64 Motor Yacht is a 64-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin 2,000-horsepower Caterpillar diesel engines. The boat cruises at 28 knots and draws just 4'8" thanks to propeller tunnels, accommodating substantial power in a relatively shallow draft. Bow and stern thrusters are fitted for maneuvering, and service records document low engine hours with full recent servicing.
The layout centers on a full-beam 190-square-foot salon with large windows and black cherry wood cabinetry finished in satin or gloss. Just forward is a 146-square-foot galley with a raised U-shape dinette featuring storage drawers. The lower helm sits opposite the galley and is outfitted with single-lever controls, GPS/plotter, autopilot, VHF, and depth/speed gauge. A 37-inch plasma TV is mounted in the salon. The three stateroom layout includes crew quarters; three heads serve the accommodations. The flybridge offers entertaining space, and a tender is included.
The convex hull design adds interior volume forward and provides a softer motion in rough water. Ten-inch side decks allow easy access to the bow. Below decks, the engine room and bilge spaces are reported clean. A Yacht Controller system is installed. The yacht's contemporary exterior styling complements the interior finish throughout.
