2008 Hatteras 77 Convertible

The 2008 Hatteras 77 Convertible is a 77-foot fiberglass sportfish built to serve both cruising and tournament fishing. Twin MTU diesel engines produce 4,800 horsepower. The hull features solid fiberglass construction with Divinycell coring in the decks, bulkheads, and sides above the waterline, designed for offshore capability with a wide beam and fuel capacity suited to extended range.

The enclosed flybridge and main salon define the interior layout. The bridge includes forward-facing seating with a centered helm chair and riding seats to port and starboard, with a raised sectional aft that houses rod storage below. A 32-inch flat-screen television anchors an entertainment area with a dry bar and combination refrigerator/icemaker. The forward console accommodates up to five flat-screen displays and features single-lever electronic controls. Below decks, the salon holds a large L-shaped sofa with integrated rod storage, a custom club chair, and generous stowage. The galley sits at sole level and includes an upright Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer with wraparound counter and three backed bar stools. A day head sits just inside the sliding door for easy cockpit access. Five cabins and five heads serve overnight accommodation.

The boat is equipped for serious fishing. The cockpit is tournament-style with a full tuna tower, fighting chair, transom livewell, and fish box. Twin in-deck macerated fish boxes, a bait freezer, and tackle storage systems complete the working spaces. Freshwater and raw-water washdowns are available, as is cockpit refrigeration. Wide side decks with high bulwarks support safe movement at sea.

A ship's systems monitor displays engine diagnostics, fuel transfer systems, tank levels, and other operational data through a touchscreen interface. The interior is accessed via a sweeping staircase that connects the main salon to the upper Sky Lounge area.
