The 2008 Hunt Harrier 25 is a composite cuddy cabin built around Hunt's signature Deep V hull design. Powered by a 2017 Volvo Penta 400-horsepower gasoline engine, the boat reaches speeds of 43 knots and cruises at 33 knots. The hull is hand-laid solid fiberglass with foam-cored topsides and stringers, finished in flag blue with a white bootstripe and red bottom paint. Trim tabs aid handling and control. The boat features a teak swim platform with stainless steel ladder and comprehensive stainless steel hardware throughout the deck.
The cockpit layout prioritizes entertaining and fishing. Seating includes an adjustable helm seat, cushioned lounges port and starboard, and a full-width transom settee. A countertop bar with Corian top and storage occupies the starboard side. The self-bailing cockpit has a bimini top with four rod holders, freshwater transom shower, and LED courtesy lights. Forward is a cuddy cabin with V-berth sleeping for two, finished in white gelcoat with teak trim and a screened overhead hatch. The single head features a Y-valve and holding tank.
Recent updates include a 2016 Ocean X aluminum outdrive, new exhaust manifolds, risers, and starter in 2024, and new engine mounts and stern drive components through 2021. Twin 50-gallon fuel tanks were replaced in 2016. The electrical system runs on 210-amp-hour battery capacity with a 10-amp shore charger added in 2023. Electronics include a Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 126sv display with GT56UHD transducer, Icom VHF radio, and Fusion stereo with four speakers—all updated in 2022. Lead-lined engine box insulation and a custom muffler reduce noise. The boat includes ground tackle with galvanized anchor, chain, and rode, along with full canvas covers.
