The 2008 Jersey Cape Devil 36 is a fiberglass sportfish built for serious offshore fishing. Twin Cummins QSC8.3L diesel engines produce 500 horsepower each, delivering a cruising speed of 25 knots and top speed of 32 knots. The boat's 14-foot-7-inch beam provides a stable, wide platform, and the cockpit is arranged for working game fish in open water.
Below deck, the single cabin offers sleeping accommodations and a head for overnight passage. The helm features well-positioned controls, and an upper tower station provides elevated sight lines for spotting fish. Garmin GPS and autopilot systems are installed at both stations. Outriggers and Isinglass are fitted for fishing operations.
Recent maintenance includes engine service, bottom paint, and propeller tuning completed in October 2024. The water cooler and heat exchanger were serviced at the same time. In 2022, both turbos were replaced, and cabin cushions were renewed. The teak exterior and interior joinery are in solid condition with good fit and finish throughout.
