2008 Kelsall 46 KSS

This 2008 Kelsall 46 KSS is a fiberglass catamaran built for comfortable cruising in blue water. At 46 feet long with a 23-foot beam, the hull form delivers shallow draft and a wide, stable platform. Twin Volvo Penta D2-75 diesel engines produce 75 horsepower each and maintain a cruise speed of 7 knots with a maximum speed of 11 knots. The boat carries 150 gallons of fuel and 100 gallons of fresh water, supported by a 5 kW Lugger generator and a Katadyn 40F water maker for self-sufficiency at sea.

The accommodation plan includes five cabins and two heads, with two additional berths forward. The galley and living spaces are arranged across the twin hulls to maximize room and natural light. A full suite of navigation electronics includes dual Garmin systems, a Richie compass, and Standard Horizon VHF radio with a Fusion SiriusXM entertainment system. The boat is equipped with twin electric bilge pump systems and dual 3-blade aluminum propellers on sail drive shafts.

Recent maintenance includes a bottom paint in July 2024, new battery charger installed in 2022, and ongoing engine service including oil changes and impeller replacement. The engines recorded 6,780 hours at time of survey in May 2026, with odometer replacement noted. Additional recent updates include new rope, new cushion covers, refreshed batteries, and a new VHF radio installed in October 2024. Salt water pumps and lazy bag were serviced in May 2026.
