This 2008 Lagoon 440 catamaran pioneered the flying bridge concept in its class. A single-owner example maintained with meticulous care, the yacht shows only 870 hours on its twin Yanmar diesel engines. Comprehensive engine servicing was completed in 2024 and 2025, including replacement of exhaust elbows, workshop overhaul of heat exchangers, starters, alternators and water pumps, and new sail drive seals. The boat is equipped and provisioned for extended cruising.
The three-cabin layout includes three heads with two electric toilets and a convertible saloon. Diesel fuel capacity is 650 litres with transfer pump; water tanks hold 900 litres. A Zodiac 3.5-metre tender with 6 hp Honda outboard is included with electric davits and winch. Galley features an oven and three burners. Two refrigerators and one freezer provide storage.
Sails include a 2024 mainsail (75 m²) and jib (42 m²), plus genaker (90 m²) and spinnaker (145 m²). The ground tackle comprises a 30 kg Spade anchor with 100 metres of 12 mm chain and 1500W electric windlass. Four Harken winches—two electric—manage sail handling.
Instrumentation and systems include Raymarine autopilot, radar, and PC interface with remote pilot control. Engine controls are at the chart table. Power comes from 110 Ah engine batteries and 500 Ah service batteries, supplemented by two wind generators and 600W solar panels. A 4 kVA generator and 95 litres-per-hour watermaker provide additional self-sufficiency. Bimini, cockpit covers, and cushions are included.
