2008 Marquis 40 SC

The 2008 Marquis 40 SC combines Italian design by Nuvolari-Lenard with American yacht construction. Built around Volvo Penta's IPS pod-drive system, this 41-foot sport coupe pairs innovative engineering with refined accommodations. Twin Volvo Penta D6 (IPS-600) engines deliver 670 horsepower, with cruising speed of 28 knots and a top speed of 35 knots. The IPS joystick system simplifies maneuvering in tight spaces and at the dock.

The defining feature is a motorized sliding transom that retracts to open the cockpit to more than 60 square feet. Glass doors connect the salon seamlessly to the exterior, creating one unified living space when opened. Inside, the salon showcases African Zebrano hardwood cabinetry with lacquered trim, a u-shaped sofa, and a motorized 26-inch LED television. An electric dining table adjusts between cocktail and dinette heights. A powered retractable sunroof with integrated shade tops the main cabin space.

The galley sits forward to port with stainless appliances and thoughtful design. The helm station accommodates two, positioned opposite the galley. Forward is the master stateroom with its own en-suite head. Midship sits a second stateroom with upper and lower single bunks. Throughout, the interior uses quality materials and finishes comparable to larger superyachts.

Custom diamond-stitched white vinyl seating with Hermès-pattern stitching furnishes the cockpit and cabin spaces. The boat is receiving new bottom paint and teak restoration, with an exterior custom vinyl wrap.
