The 2008 Princess V85 is an 85-foot motor yacht powered by twin Caterpillar C32-2 diesel engines delivering 3,648 horsepower combined. The boat reaches a top speed of 32 knots and cruises at 20 knots with a range of 200 nautical miles. Built from fiberglass, it measures 6.27 meters in beam and carries 6,000 liters of fuel along with 1,200 liters of water capacity. Two Oman generators provide electrical power, and the yacht displaces 122 gross tons.
Accommodations include five cabins with five heads, arranged for eight guests and three crew members. Recent interior work has added leather accents throughout the cabins and saloon, new carpeting, and refurbished seating with two large sofas and multiple armchairs. The galley is equipped with dual Bosch refrigerators, a Bosch dishwasher, oven, induction cooktop, washing machine and dryer, a large wine fridge, and dual Delonghi coffee machines.
The yacht's exterior has received substantial attention, with new 12-millimeter teak covering, six carbon pillars on both front and rear sundecks, and fresh mesh sunbathing covers in Ferrari fabric. New bimini tops and cushions dress the sundecks and flybridge, while a new teak table sits on the forward sundeck. The gangway has been completely repaired.
Recent updates through 2024 include a new instrument panel on the flybridge with electronic Caterpillar controls, replaced steering and generator pumps, new bilge and maserator systems, 12 underwater lights, updated batteries, and a modern toilet system. Electronics feature a Furuno MFD with three screens and current charts, Samsung televisions throughout, and a Yamaha hi-fi system with eight speakers and subwoofer controlled via Apple connectivity.
