The 2008 Regal 2565 Window Express is a fiberglass cruiser built around an innovative design featuring expansive windows throughout. These large openings flood the interior with natural light and create an open, airy feel uncommon in trailerable cruisers of this size. At 27.5 feet long with an 8.5-foot beam, the boat is powered by a single Volvo Penta 5.7 GXi gasoline engine with Duo-Prop drive and includes a 3kw Westerbeke generator.
The cockpit is comprehensively equipped for both entertaining and extended cruising. It features a folding aft bench and lounge seat that converts to an L-shaped configuration, a walk-through windshield, full canvas enclosure with cockpit cover, wet bar, cockpit shower, and an oversized swim platform with tow eye. Additional exterior features include stainless steel cup holders, underwater lighting, transom speakers, molded-in fender holders, a windlass, spotlight, depthfinder, and bow cushions.
Below deck, the cabin layout maximizes the sense of space with its convertible dinette positioned to take full advantage of the surrounding windows. The galley is complete with a stove, sink with pressurized water, refrigerator, and microwave, all set into Corian countertops. The mid-cabin berth accommodates adults or children comfortably, while the stand-up head compartment features integrated hot and cold pressurized water, a shower, storage, and a VacuFlush toilet.
