The 2008 Sabre 38 Hard Top Express is a downeast-style cruiser built on a fiberglass hull measuring 38 feet in length with a 13.67-foot beam. Powered by twin Cummins QSB 425 HO diesel engines driving through direct shaft, the boat delivers substantial capability for extended cruising. The hard top provides weather protection overhead, while the cockpit is equipped with a custom awning added in 2022.
The yacht features teak decks on the helm area, cockpit, and swim platform. The helm and mate stations are fitted with STIDD chairs that were reupholstered by the manufacturer in 2023. The pilothouse is outfitted with updated Garmin electronics installed in 2012, and navigation and comfort systems include a Side Power bow thruster, air conditioning, and reverse-cycle heating across four zones. A 9.0kW Onan generator provides auxiliary power.
The hull received a fresh Awlgrip coating in Timeless Green in 2013. One head serves the accommodations. The boat has been maintained on a regular schedule throughout its ownership.
