The 2008 Sea Ray 55 Sundancer is a 60-foot express cruiser built on a deep-V fiberglass hull, powered by twin MAN diesel engines rated at 1,800 horsepower combined. The boat cruises at 24–28 knots and reaches 30–35 knots at full throttle, with V-drive inboards and joystick docking control for precision maneuvering. The hardtop is fully enclosed with a sunroof and windshield vents, while the cockpit features a large U-shaped lounge, wet bar with refrigerator and icemaker, and grill. A hydraulic swim platform is installed for tender handling and water access. The wide side decks ease forward movement on deck.
Below, the salon showcases cherry wood cabinetry and Ultraleather seating in an open layout with abundant natural light and solid headroom throughout. The galley is fully appointed with refrigerator/freezer, microwave/convection oven, sink, and generous counter space. A master stateroom amidships offers a queen berth and en-suite head with shower; a forward VIP stateroom includes a V-berth with private head access; the salon sofa converts for additional sleeping space. Two heads serve the yacht.
Systems include a 21.5 kW diesel generator, zoned climate control for salon and cabins, and a washer/dryer combination. Navigation and engine monitoring are provided by Raymarine or Garmin electronics with SmartCraft diagnostics. Fuel capacity is approximately 825 gallons, with water and holding tank capacities of 200 and 70 gallons respectively.
