The 2008 Silverton 36 Convertible is a fiberglass motor yacht designed for extended cruising and fishing. Twin Yanmar 6LPA-STP2 diesel engines deliver 315 horsepower each, reaching a cruising speed of 22 knots and a maximum speed of 26.4 knots. The engines carry only 664 hours of running time. A Fischer Panda generator with 82.4 hours rounds out the propulsion package.
The interior centers on a spacious salon with Ultraleather upholstery, cherry wood cabinetry and table, and a convertible sofa that serves as additional berth space. The galley is equipped for self-sufficient cruising. Forward lies the master stateroom with a centerline queen berth, hanging locker, and an en-suite head with separate shower. A second stateroom to port holds over-and-under twin bunks and storage. The flybridge is fully enclosed with Isinglass and offers seating for guests.
Recent upgrades include a new Isotherm refrigerator-freezer, Garmin autopilot with remote control, exterior covers, rudder seals, water pump, soft top, and new zippers on the Isinglass enclosures. Bottom paint and PropSpeed application were completed recently. The generator was replaced within the past year.
