The Tayana 58 is a 58-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 2008, designed by Dutch naval architect Pieter Beeldsnijder for serious offshore cruising. Powered by a Yanmar 4LH-HTE diesel engine producing 140 horsepower, the boat features a beam of over 16 feet that provides a spacious interior layout. The raised deck saloon design enhances natural light, ventilation, and sightlines while increasing fuel and water tankage capacity—a significant advantage for extended passages.
The interior accommodates two master cabins, one crew cabin with two berths, and four additional single berths, allowing flexibility for cruising couples, families, or small crews. Custom joinery by Ta Yang throughout demonstrates fine craftsmanship. The yacht includes a full stand-up engine room with workbench, supporting straightforward maintenance and accessibility. Two heads serve the accommodations.
The boat is equipped with a spinnaker for sail handling across varying wind conditions. It has remained under single ownership since new and was never chartered. Though built in 2008, the yacht entered service in 2010 and has been well maintained throughout its operational life.
