2008 Tiara Yachts 4300 Sovran

The Tiara 4300 Sovran is a 43-foot diesel motor yacht built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 engines producing 435 horsepower each. The IPS system delivers substantial operational advantages: notably reduced noise and vibration compared to conventional inboards, improved fuel efficiency, and joystick control that provides exceptional low-speed maneuverability without requiring bow thrusters. The compact IPS footprint allowed the designers to incorporate a full second stateroom, a feature not typical in this class.

The interior includes two cabins and two heads. The galley is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator and freezer, and accommodations feature vessel sinks, shower partitions, and extensive storage throughout. Optional washer and dryer capability is available. The cockpit provides comfortable, inviting seating for cruising.

Recent work includes a significant refit completed in 2025: the engines underwent their 1000-hour service, new after coolers were installed, the IPS joystick control was replaced, all batteries are new, and the hull received a fresh Awlgrip blue paint job. The 11.5-kilowatt Onan generator has approximately 2,100 hours of service. Navigation and electronics include twin Furuno TZ touch-screen chart plotters, Simrad autopilot, Furuno depth finder, satellite phone, dual VHF radios, satellite radio, and updated televisions throughout. The boat is equipped with electric Maxwell windlass, air conditioning and heating across four zones, Fusion audio system, and a 6-inch Ritchie compass.
