2008 Voyage Yachts 500

The Voyage Yachts 500 is a 50-foot catamaran built in fiberglass with a substantial 27-foot beam, offering wide-open accommodations across five cabins and five heads. Twin Yanmar 4JH57 diesel engines with SD60 saildrives were commissioned in December 2025 and show only 75 hours of running time, paired with a 6kW Northern Lights generator.

Recent work encompasses a comprehensive electrical refit centred on Victron components—Multiplus 12/3000 inverter, Cerbo GX, GX Touch 50 display, SmartShunt battery monitor, and new AGM batteries. Charging capability includes 720 watts of solar with Victron controllers and Blue Sea ML automatic relays. The saildrive system benefits from a new 200-foot primary anchor chain in stainless steel, upgraded secondary electric winch, and dedicated dinghy halyard. An Oxley Levante 17.50 parasail was installed in 2024, along with a Parasailor reefing system.

The boat received fresh bottom paint and antifouling in December 2025. Interior and deck work includes new upholstery, a new trampoline, and refreshed cockpit cushions. Safety and comfort additions encompass current liferaft and offshore safety gear, Dyneema genoa halyard, and inboard and outboard Lumitec underwater lighting.
