The 2008 Wellcraft 252 Coastal is a fiberglass sportfish boat powered by twin 150-horsepower Yamaha four-stroke engines. The boat has been used exclusively in freshwater and shows relatively low engine hours: 124.7 hours on the port engine and 116 hours on the starboard. It reaches a top speed of 52 mph and cruises comfortably at 35 mph, with a 140-gallon fuel tank providing a range of approximately 350 miles at cruising speed. The boat measures 24 feet in length with an 8.75-foot beam.
The cockpit is well-equipped for fishing, featuring a hardtop with rod holders, full windshield, swim platform with boarding ladder and fish door, two fish lockers, and an 84-quart bait tank with overboard drain. A 9-gallon freshwater tank is installed. Navigation and fish-finding electronics include a Lowrance 4G radar, a dedicated Lowrance HSDID 10-inch display, and a 12-inch Lowrance HDS depth finder with sidescan, downscanning, and sonar mapping. Two Icon VHF radios provide communication capability, and a Maxwell auto anchor system with 150 feet of line is aboard. Tigrass 18-foot telescopic outriggers are included.
Below deck, the boat offers a V-berth, galley with sink, and marine head. A 2008 EZ Loader two-axle trailer with oil-bath hubs and brakes is included.
