The 2009 Astondoa 96 GLX is a Spanish-built flybridge motor yacht measuring 96 feet with a beam of 22.5 feet. Powered by twin MTU diesel engines producing 4,000 horsepower combined, the yacht reaches a maximum speed of 27 knots and cruises at 24 knots. The fiberglass hull was repainted in 2017 and offers a shallow draft suitable for coastal and shallow-water cruising.
Accommodations comprise six cabins and seven heads. The main deck features a full-beam master suite accessed via private staircase, a VIP cabin, a double cabin, and a twin cabin with Pullman berth. Crew quarters with independent access provide space for up to four staff members. Guest capacity reaches ten. The galley is fully equipped with modern appliances and generous storage.
The expansive flybridge includes sunbathing areas, dining space, multiple seating zones, and a full wet bar, with granite countertops installed. The main deck offers an open salon with dining for ten, lounge seating, and a day head. An aft deck provides additional dining and seating, while the bow features sunbeds with awning. A large swimming platform is integrated into the design. Interior finishes feature light-washed oak and leather with open-plan styling emphasizing natural light and volume throughout the 168-ton interior.
Recent updates include a new ANG shore power converter installed in 2025. Tropical air conditioning provides 180,000 BTU capacity. The yacht's design combines high performance capability with spacious accommodations and substantial interior volume.
