The 2009 Back Cove 37 is a fiberglass downeast cruiser built for serious coastal work and comfortable passagemaking. Her single Cummins diesel engine produces 600 horsepower and delivers a cruising speed of 24 knots with a top speed of 29 knots. The 37-foot hull and 13.25-foot beam provide a stable platform suited to variable sea conditions.

The accommodations include two cabins and one head, offering modest but functional overnight quarters for a cruising crew. The layout is typical of the Back Cove design philosophy—practical, efficient, and focused on seaworthiness rather than excess.
