2009 Beneteau Oceanis 46

The 2009 Beneteau Oceanis 46 is a 49-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built for comfort and extended voyaging. Powered by a 75 hp Yanmar diesel engine with shaft drive, she reaches a cruising speed of just over 6 knots. The boat underwent a comprehensive refit in 2023, bringing all systems up to date. Standing rigging is scheduled for replacement in 2026.

The layout comprises four cabins and two electric heads with showers, arranged to accommodate families or charter groups. The saloon features a convertible table, 130-liter refrigerator, and two-burner oven. A teak cockpit and twin wheels support easy maneuvering. Below deck, fuel capacity is 200 liters and fresh water capacity is 530 liters across two holding tanks.

The boat carries modern navigation and electronics including Raymarine instruments with autopilot and wind, depth, and speed monitoring, alongside a Garmin GPSMap 420 and Raymarine Axiom 7. A Raymarine VHF with AIS, 210-watt solar panels, bowthruster, and 1500-watt Lofrans windlass support reliable cruising. Batteries were refreshed in 2023. A 1500-watt inverter and electric winches complete the auxiliary systems.

Sails include a full-battened mainsail from 2023, a furling genoa refurbished in 2024, and a spare factory mainsail. Accommodations are enhanced by Sinclair air conditioning and heating installed in 2025. A 2025 dinghy with Yamaha 2.5 hp outboard, 10-person liferaft, and outboard davits with pole are included. The boat is equipped for extended offshore passages and extended cruising.
