2009 Boston Whaler 180 Dauntless

The 2009 Boston Whaler 180 Dauntless is an 18-foot fiberglass sportfish designed around practical fishing utility. The layout emphasizes casting space, with rod holders throughout and a full-width aft deck that serves as both casting platform and converts to a bench seat. Standard equipment includes a Stryker top for weather protection and Simrad electronics for navigation and fish finding.

The boat is powered by a new Yamaha 150 hp gasoline engine installed in 2024. Hydraulic steering was replaced in 2025. Additional upgrades include a second battery, marine radio, and new stainless steel wheel. The boat comes with two 10-foot Raptor shallow water anchors.

At its 8-foot beam and with a single-engine setup, this Boston Whaler offers the stability and seaworthiness the brand is known for, making it suitable for both inshore and light offshore conditions.
