2009 Boston Whaler 180 Dauntless
About This Yacht
The 2009 Boston Whaler 180 Dauntless is an 18-foot fiberglass sportfish designed around practical fishing utility. The layout emphasizes casting space, with rod holders throughout and a full-width aft deck that serves as both casting platform and converts to a bench seat. Standard equipment includes a Stryker top for weather protection and Simrad electronics for navigation and fish finding.
The boat is powered by a new Yamaha 150 hp gasoline engine installed in 2024. Hydraulic steering was replaced in 2025. Additional upgrades include a second battery, marine radio, and new stainless steel wheel. The boat comes with two 10-foot Raptor shallow water anchors.
At its 8-foot beam and with a single-engine setup, this Boston Whaler offers the stability and seaworthiness the brand is known for, making it suitable for both inshore and light offshore conditions. It reaches speeds to 40 mph and handles the versatility expected of the Dauntless line—capable of fishing, cruising, or day boating depending on the owner's needs.
