The 2009 CNB Bordeaux 60 is a substantial cruising yacht built by French builder CNB in vacuum-infused fiberglass composite. Designed by Philippe Briand with interior by Couedel Hugon, she combines refined construction with serious offshore capability. The hull received a fresh Awlgrip grey paint in 2024, and features an aluminium grid structure bonded throughout. Full teak decking spans the yacht including the aft platform, with teak cockpit furniture and Lewmar deck hatches complementing panoramic coachroof windows. The electric-opening transom platform provides access to the garage, while the shallow-draft design pairs with a furling mainsail for flexible cruising.
The rig is a 9/10th sloop with a three-spreader furling mast, new from Marechal Masts in 2024 with matching new boom and Dyform rigging. Electric jib and mainsail furlers with cockpit remote control combine with manual staysail furling for precision handling. A carbon spinnaker pole stows at the mast. All halyards are Dyneema with most renewed in 2025. Two Harken 74 primary and two Harken 60 secondary electric winches power the deck. Sails include furling main, genoa, and self-tacking staysail by Incidence, all from 2024. A single 180 hp Volvo Penta diesel with 2,955 hours (as of March 2026) drives a folding three-blade Gori prop via shaft drive, with a bow thruster for maneuverability.
Below deck, the accommodation arranges six berths across three double cabins, each with ensuite heads. The master cabin forward of the mast has an offset double bed, vanity desk, and walk-in wardrobe, with a dedicated forward bathroom featuring a large shower. Two guest cabins aft on each side have hanging wardrobes and separate en-suite facilities. The saloon offers an L-shaped seating area with extendable dining table to port and a convertible chaise-lounge to starboard, plus a forward-facing chart table with leather chair. The U-shaped galley forward features extensive cabinetry and integrated appliances including a four-burner induction cooktop, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and two refrigeration units plus freezer. A utility room sits behind the companionway stairs, with generous forward lazarette stowage and a spacious aft garage.
Systems reflect extended cruising ambitions. Webasto air conditioning with individual handlers, pressure water with a 60-litre quick boiler, and a watermaker support comfort and autonomy. Battery capacity includes eight 120Ah domestic cells (new 2024), with an 11 kVA Cummins generator providing 220v three-phase power. Raymarine navigation centres on Axiom2 PRO and Axiom PLUS 12 plotters, with autopilot, AIS, VHF, and EPIRB. An eight-person offshore life
