This 35-foot aluminum sportfishing yacht combines a refined Hunt deep-V hull with robust workboat styling. Built by New England Boatworks in collaboration with Hunt Design, the boat balances offshore fishing capability with coastal cruising comfort. Power comes from a 480-hp Cummins QSB 5.9 diesel engine paired with an Ultrajet 340 waterjet, offering precise joystick control that performs well in shallow, rocky waters. The boat reaches 27 knots and cruises at 22 knots.
The enclosed pilothouse features a Herreshoff interior with luxurious Stidd seats for helmsman and passenger, a streamlined galley, and bench seating with storage on both sides. Below deck are a V berth, enclosed head with shower, and a hanging locker. A swinging door on each side of the pilothouse opens to a walkaround deck and bow seat with full-height handrails. Wide roof overhangs provide shade and weather protection throughout the cockpit and forward areas.
The cockpit is arranged for fishing, with a bait well, outdoor sink, and extensive tackle storage. A retractable Furuno CH-300 searchlight sonar aids navigation and fish finding. Trim tabs with electronic actuators and a Side Power bow thruster enhance handling. Three-zone diesel heating serves the interior year-round.
Acoustic insulation was installed throughout the aluminum hull to reduce interior noise typical of metal boats. Lightweight cored panels reduce weight in the forward cabin and overhead spaces. The boat completed local and offshore sea trials in Rhode Island waters before delivery.
