This 45-foot Custom Carolina Sportfish was built in 2009 with a solid fiberglass and C-flex hull reinforced with ATC core cell foam. The design comes from Dave Sintes. Twin IVECO/FPT C13 diesel engines rated at 1,540 horsepower total power the boat, paired with Twin Disc MGX5114A transmissions. The starboard engine shows 3,729 hours and the port engine 5,806 hours. A Mase 8KW generator (800 hours) is fitted, though it requires repair.
The boat accommodates a single berth and head. A salon steering station was added in 2022. Digital instrumentation and a new wiring harness were installed in 2023/24. Cooling system components—after coolers, heat exchangers, and transmission coolers—were serviced in 2023 and have logged less than 75 hours of runtime since. Mixing elbows were replaced in 2024. The last haul-out occurred in 2026.
The boat holds a current Certificate of Inspection rated for 27 passengers plus 2 crew in lakes, bays, and sounds, and 13 passengers plus 2 crew for offshore operation up to 100 nautical miles.
