2009 Ferretti Yachts 780

This 2009 Ferretti 780 is a 78-foot fiberglass motor yacht built and designed by Ferretti Yachts, with naval architecture and interior design also by Ferretti. The boat is powered by two MTU 12V 2000 M92 diesel engines producing 1,660 horsepower each, delivering a maximum speed of approximately 28 to 32 knots and a cruising speed of around 15 knots. The yacht has a beam of 19.5 feet and a draft of 10.5 feet, with a gross tonnage of 65 tons.

The accommodation layout includes five cabins and five heads. The owner suite is located amidship with an ensuite bathroom and shower, while a forward VIP double suite also has an ensuite with shower. Two twin cabins are each equipped with their own head and shower, and there is a crew cabin with two bunk beds and a separate toilet with shower. The galley features a ceramic cooktop with four burners, a 276-liter refrigerator and 74-liter freezer, a dishwasher, and an electric microwave oven with ducted extractor fan, all set on a granite countertop with dual sinks.

The boat is equipped with extensive systems including electrohydraulic steering, stabilizers, two generators (20kW and 5kW), and comprehensive battery banks totaling over 2,000 ampere-hours. Deck equipment includes two electric windlasses, an electrohydraulic swim platform ladder, a telescopic gangway, two 30kg anchors with chains, and two capstans. Communication systems include satellite TV, VHF, SSB, and GSM. Entertainment features a surround-sound system with multiple speakers throughout the yacht and an integrated television. A 3.6-meter tender with a 30-horsepower Honda outboard is included.

The starboard engine was serviced with a top overhaul in February 2024, and the hull received antifouling at the same time. Engine hours as of July 2025 were approximately 1,925 on the port side and 1,916 on the starboard, with generator hours between 4,430 and 4,992.
