2009 Formula 400 Super Sport

The 2009 Formula 400 Super Sport is a 41-foot fiberglass sport cruiser powered by twin MerCruiser 496-Magnum HO engines rated at 425 hp each, paired with Bravo III X sterndrives. Built on Formula's Fas3Tech hull—a double-stepped deep-V design—the boat combines responsive handling with stability across a range of sea states. The narrow profile and optimized hull design allow the boat to maintain near-optimal running angles without constant trim adjustment.

The cabin layout centers on an owner's stateroom aft, forward-facing Ultraleather wraparound lounge, and four overhead translucent hatches flooding the salon with light. Topside, the double-wide helm seat retracts to allow standup driving, and the walk-through windshield opens to a wide nonskid foredeck leading to the bow. A single head with Vacuflush toilet, vanity, sink, and shower serves the interior. On-deck conveniences include a recessed anchor storage compartment, hinged transom locker, and accessible engine room.

Equipment includes a Kohler generator, bow thruster, Garmin color touchscreen GPS chartplotter with sounder, Fusion premium sound system, electric windlass with forward pedal control and polished stainless anchor, air-conditioning and heat, and a cockpit wet bar with sink and stainless-steel drawer-style beverage refrigerator. A new custom cockpit canvas enclosure and snap-in snap-out cockpit carpeting are fitted. The transom door provides water-level access.

The boat shows 915 original engine hours and has been inside-stored seasonally—summers in a boathouse and winters in heated storage. Condition is noted as above average.
