This 2009 Fountaine Pajot Orana 44 is a fiberglass sailing catamaran measuring 43 feet in length with a 24-foot beam. The four-cabin, four-head layout offers substantial accommodation across both hulls, with forward cabins in each pontoon and additional berths amidships. Each cabin has 12-volt ventilation, and the boat features full LED lighting throughout. Mattresses in three cabins and slatted platforms in all four date from 2022 onwards.
Propulsion comes from twin Volvo D2-40F diesel engines with 2,800 hours of service time, paired with Maxprop Easy 85 three-blade folding propellers installed in 2016. Recent engine work includes replacement of heat exchangers and exhaust bends in 2024 and 2025, with engine servicing, filter changes, and seal replacements completed in March 2025. The boat carries 400 liters of fuel and 530 liters of fresh water across two tanks.
The sailing plan includes a lattice-batten mainsail, an 80-square-meter Code 0 on hydraulic roller furling, and an asymmetric spinnaker in good condition. The rig features Dyneema line (replaced 2024–2025) and three winches at the helm, one electric. Navigation electronics center on a complete Furuno system installed in March 2021, including chartplotter, radar, weather fax, and depth sounder. AIS transponder and GMDSS beacon provide safety systems.
Comfort and systems include two refrigerators (one compressor replaced in 2024), gas cooktop with oven, a fixed-line gas plancha grill, and full LC electronics for WC management in three heads. Power comes from three 200Ah LiFePO4 batteries, five 245-watt solar panels, a 300-amp alternator booster, and a 12/2000-watt Victron inverter. A 200-liter-per-hour watermaker, Webasto fuel heaters in each cabin, and a 3.35-meter tender with new 25-hp Suzuki engine complete the inventory.
