The 2009 Glacier Bay 3080 is a 30-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin 500 hp Yamaha engines. Built on a semi-displacement hull design, the boat features reinforced Kevlar stems wrapped in multiple layers of premium E-glass, with solid fiberglass lamination backed by cross-linked urethane foam throughout. The hull incorporates seven to ten full-width bulkheads, extensive ribbing and stringers, foam-filled watertight compartments, and a double bottom with collision compartments and auto-pumping systems for added security.
The aft cockpit is expansive and open, designed with fishing in mind. It includes a rod rack with capacity for six rods, padded inner combings, two insulated in-deck fish wells, saltwater deck wash-down, and rocket launchers. Canvas and vinyl enclosures and a full set of sun shades are fitted.
Below deck, the galley is equipped with Corian countertops, sink, stove, refrigerator, and microwave. There is a forward king-size berth and a separate head with shower offering both hot and cold water. The layout prioritizes outdoor entertaining, with an upmarket wet bar serving a curved settee with timber table. The helm seat folds forward to reveal a cooktop that converts the wet bar into a complete galley, extending dining and preparation space between indoors and out.
The engines and generator received full service updates in 2024. All systems are in working order, including air conditioning, hot and cold water, VHF radio, and chart plotter.
