2009 Grand Banks 47 Heritage CL

The 2009 Grand Banks 47 Heritage CL is a 47-foot sedan bridge built on a Sparkman & Stephens planing hull, one of only 13 of this model ever constructed. Powered by twin 2024 Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel engines producing 600 horsepower each, the yacht achieves a cruising speed of 23 knots at 85 percent load and a maximum speed of 29.7 knots. The hull is fiberglass with a beam of 15 feet 9 inches.

The yacht accommodates two full suites—one forward and one aft—each with an ensuite head and island queen berth. The main salon is spacious with generous seating, a mid-level galley with granite counters and large pantry, and a custom teak desk paired with Starlink connectivity for remote work. The flybridge seats six and includes a wet bar and refrigerator. Interior updates include new cushions throughout, mattresses, headliners, carpet, and stateroom blinds.

Recent work has been extensive. The engine room soft patch was redesigned into an insulated hatch for full access. New shafting, cutlass bearings, shaft seals, and reconditioned propellers were installed. A 13.5-kilowatt Onan generator and four-zone Dometic HVAC system are both new. Decks were refinished in non-skid Awlgrip with teak trim rebuilt throughout. A custom hydraulic teak swim platform with a new ULT 300 tender is included. Additional updates include new STIDD helm chairs with factory cushions, a full Garmin electronics suite, flybridge windshield, and fuel polishing with tank cleaning.
