2009 Hylas 54

The 2009 Hylas 54 is a German Frers design built for offshore sailing, with an easily driven hull and clever layout that makes her manageable for a couple yet comfortable for extended cruising. Hull number 56 represents one of the last examples of this popular model.

Below deck, the yacht accommodates three cabins and two heads. The galley and saloon are arranged for both living and navigation, with equipment access designed for efficient operation underway. The 125 hp Yammer diesel engine provides a cruising speed of 7.5 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots.

Equipment includes a generator, air conditioning, bow thruster, in-boom furling, five electric winches, electric davits, water maker, and washer/dryer. The electronics and sound system are recent additions, along with new canvas and solar charging capability. A complete refit was completed in 2018. The yacht has been maintained by full-time professional crew and a dedicated yard team throughout recent ownership.
