2009 Mako 204 Center Console
About This Yacht
This 2009 Mako 204 is a purpose-built offshore fishing boat with a deep-V fiberglass hull designed for rough water performance. The single Evinrude E-TEC 175 hp engine has logged only 150 hours and runs strong. An 85-gallon fuel tank supports extended range, and the engine is rated for up to 225 hp should future upgrades be considered.
The boat's layout centers on fishing capability. An insulated fishbox with drain sits forward, with a second insulated box and anchor locker also integrated into the design. The bow accommodates seating, and the open center console layout prioritizes working space. Twenty feet in length with an eight-foot beam, the boat tracks well in varying sea conditions.
Recent maintenance includes new batteries and fresh bottom paint. A new 2024 Garmin Echomap Ultra 2 10-inch chartplotter with transducer has been installed for sonar and navigation. The boat has been freshwater-flushed after saltwater use and stored indoors throughout its ownership.
