2009 Malibu Wakesetter VTX
About This Yacht
The 2009 Malibu Wakesetter VTX is a 20-foot wakeboarding-focused boat powered by a single 320-horsepower gasoline engine. Built on a fiberglass hull, it delivers professional-level wake performance in a compact package. The boat can accommodate up to 10 people and features a ballast system with as much as 1250 pounds of capacity to shape the wake. An optional Cut Diamond hull design allows the boat to toggle between wakeboarding and slalom skiing modes.
The helm centers on an oversized captain's chair with flip-up bolster and automotive-style lumbar support. The control station includes an in-dash LCD display, digital Medallion gauges, and LCD-embedded MUX switches. The observer's area offers a 1.5 cubic-foot locking glove box with 12-volt power and optional auxiliary stereo inputs. A walk-through provides access to optional Malibu-Rockford Fosgate stereo controls.
Standard equipment includes a 60-quart self-draining ice chest. The boat is housed in fiberglass construction, keeping it manageable in size despite its full-featured layout and performance capability.
