The Mulder 70 Wheelhouse is a 70-foot motor yacht built in fiberglass with classic modern styling. Twin Caterpillar diesel engines of 640 horsepower propel the boat at a cruising speed of approximately 12 knots. The design balances comfort with capability for both inland and open-water cruising.
The yacht accommodates three cabins and includes six heads. The wheelhouse features a large sunroof and foldable doors opening to the saloon. The main saloon is appointed with a varnished teak table, while the aft deck provides an integrated bench with cushions and sun lounging space on the foredeck. A spacious garage aft serves for dinghy stowage and equipment storage. The utility room on the starboard side houses laundry appliances and provides engine room access.
A comprehensive refit was completed in 2022–2023. The hull and superstructure were repainted with Awlgrip in moonglow silver metallic and white respectively. Navigation systems were upgraded to Simrad equipment, and the dashboard was fully reinstalled with new systems. New Victron inverter and battery charger units were fitted along with a fresh battery set, while Hydronautica engine controls and remote operation were added. The teak deck was refinished, and interior varnish work was renewed throughout. Caterpillar engine maintenance was performed in 2023.
Equipment includes an Opacmare gangway, removable side stairs, deck wash pump, 5-blade propellers, Bose audio, Siemens dishwasher, Miele washer and dryer, television throughout, and mosquito screens with stainless steel blinds for portholes. A new suncover with removable carbon poles shades the aft deck. With the hydraulically folded mast, the boat's clearance height is approximately 5.15 metres.
