The Nautitech 40 is a fiberglass catamaran built in 2009, measuring 39 feet in length with a 22-foot beam. Powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 58 horsepower each, the boat is equipped for serious cruising. The engines underwent full service in 2026 with documented maintenance records available. The electrical system features 520 watts of solar panels with Victron Smart Solar controller, a 2000-watt inverter, and dual battery banks (five service batteries and two engine batteries, all replaced in 2023). Navigation electronics include Raymarine multifunction displays, autopilot systems, radar, AIS, and sonar.
The accommodation layout provides five cabins with two heads. The interior includes two refrigerators, a gas stove with oven, a 40-liter water heater, a watermaker producing 12.5 liters per hour, and an Eberspacher heating system with four outlets plus three additional electric heaters. One toilet is electric, the other manual. The galley features both seawater and fresh water taps, and there is a cockpit shower with hot and cold water.
The sailing rig was extensively refitted in 2021. A new 56-square-meter mainsail with three reefs and lazy bag was installed, supported by a FACNOR furling system. The boat carries a 31-square-meter genoa and a 52-square-meter gennaker with Selden furler (added 2023). Hard rigging was replaced in 2021, and all rigging was checked at that time.
The boat underwent ocean-cruising preparation in 2021, including full bottom hull grinding, epoxy primer, and antifouling. Equipment includes a 1000-watt electric windlass, 80 meters of chain, davits, and a 290-series Highfield dinghy with Yamaha 9.9 outboard motor (2018). Safety gear includes a liferaft and EPIRB. The hull was measured at a draft of 1.20 meters, with water capacity of 600 liters and fuel capacity of 270 liters.
