The 2009 Nordhavn 75 Expedition Yachtfisher combines sportfishing capability with extended-range cruising design. Twin MTU diesel engines rated at 1,480 hp total power the 75-foot fiberglass hull, which cruises at ten knots and features a 22-foot beam. The yacht carries distinctive styling throughout, with a well-proportioned layout that maximizes both interior and exterior living space for family and guests.
The accommodation plan comprises five cabins across two decks. The owner's suite occupies the full beam of the main deck with a king berth, desk workspace, and dedicated head with shower. Below deck are three guest staterooms—a port cabin with twin berths, a starboard aft cabin with queen berth, and a starboard forward cabin with double berth—each served by en-suite heads. A separate captain's stateroom sits aft of the pilothouse with its own head. Additional spaces include a wine cellar positioned beneath the owner's stateroom with capacity for over 100 bottles, a forward tool room, and a laundry area with washer and dryer.
The main salon showcases cherry wood and stonework throughout, with a dining area to starboard and lounge seating to port featuring a leather swivel chair and double recliner sofa. The galley spans the forward port side with granite counters, Sub-Zero refrigeration, GE Profile range and microwave, and a Bosch dishwasher. The pilothouse functions as a day space with dinette seating, two adjustable helm chairs, and a full-beam pilot berth with en-suite head. The flybridge features helm stations, bench seating, and teak chaise lounges.
Recent major work includes extensive interior and exterior soft goods replacement, complete flybridge and California deck remodeling with new teak surfaces and custom granite dining table, hull repaint in metallic grey, new bottom paint, and substantial mechanical updates including new engine mounts with optical alignment, cutlass bearings, shaft seals, and propeller coatings. The 2024–25 upgrade package added ABT STAR at-rest stabilization, ElectroSea Clearline sewage system, Starlink satellite internet, Tidalwave sewage treatment, and major systems through-hull replacements with watermaker membrane service. Additional mechanical features include dual ABT 38 hp bow and stern thrusters, ABT TRAC 370 fin stabilizers with new seals and bearings, and a Village Marine watermaker producing 2,000 gallons daily. The pilothouse carries Furuno navigation systems including NN3D black-box and radar, dual-frequency sonar, AIS, autopilot, and redundant electronics throughout. Electrical power comes from dual Onan generators (40 kW and 21.5 kW), 100-amp shore power inlet, and extensive battery banks with 35 kVA inverter backup. A Nautilus hydraulic davit handles the tender—an AB 17FR with Yamaha 115 hp outboard—while dual Maxwell windlasses manage anchor chain totaling 800 feet
