2009 Ranger 208 VX

This 2009 Ranger 208 VX is a 20-foot 9-inch bay boat powered by a 225-horsepower Mercury Pro XS outboard engine. The dual-console layout provides commanding visibility and comfortable operation across shallow and open water.

The electronics package is extensive and modern. The boat carries three Lowrance fishfinding displays: a 9-inch HDS at the helm console with down and side-scan capability, a 10-inch HDS mounted at the bow with the same sonar features, and a 12-inch Live Target forward-facing sonar also at the bow. A 36-volt Lowrance Ghost trolling motor is fitted. Navigation and engine data run through a Mercury SmartCraft system.

Power and charging infrastructure includes four lithium-ion batteries paired with an Ionic 4-bank charger rated for 15 amps. Two 8-foot Power Poles provide anchoring stability. The engine's lower unit was replaced two years ago and carries 360 hours of total time. Two stainless steel propellers are included, along with a keel guard for hull protection. The boat comes with custom covers for both the motor and hull, and rides on a trailer fitted with two new axles.
