2009 Sabre 42 Salon Express

This 2009 Sabre 42 Salon Express is a fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Cummins Zeus pod drives producing 850 horsepower combined, delivering a cruising speed of 26 knots and top speed of 33 knots. The engines have 765 hours and are paired with joystick and Skyhook controls for intuitive maneuvering and station-keeping. A full electronics suite includes Raymarine systems and KVH satellite connectivity.

The boat accommodates two staterooms and features four zones of reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning, including an optional second helm deck unit. The helm deck includes a wet bar with sink and refrigerator, teak sole, and comfortable outdoor seating with a fold-down transom settee finished in custom cushions. An Onan 11.5-kilowatt generator provides independent power.

Recent maintenance and upgrades include new engine start batteries and generator battery installed in 2025, and a new Vacuflush head also completed in 2025. The exterior teak has been refinished with multiple coats of varnish. Pod service is scheduled for spring 2026. The boat is finished in flag blue.
