The 2009 Sea Ray 290 Amberjack is a 29-foot deep-V cruiser powered by twin MerCruiser 350 MAG MPI gasoline engines with DTS digital throttle and shift controls. The boat features a factory hardtop, a design improvement introduced in 2009 that substantially enhances weather protection and year-round usability. A 4.5 kW generator and Webasto diesel cabin heater support extended cruising comfort. The helm sits well-positioned under the hardtop with excellent sightlines and protective cover, equipped with a navigation and electronics package updated in 2016.
The interior accommodates up to four adults across a forward V-berth, convertible dinette, and mid-cabin berth. The galley includes a sink, refrigerator, and microwave, with ample cabinetry storage throughout. A single enclosed head with marine toilet, sink, and shower completes the interior. Wood cabinetry, soft upholstery, and natural light create a comfortable cruising environment suited to weekend trips or longer stays.
The cockpit provides spacious seating with versatile layouts for both cruising and fishing. Wide side decks ensure safe movement forward to the bow. Fuel capacity is approximately 200 gallons, with 30 gallons of fresh water and 28 gallons of holding tank capacity. In December 2025, the engines and drive legs were fully serviced, zincs were replaced, and the bottom was freshly painted. The topsides received a full detail with polish and wax.
