2009 Sea Ray 55 Sundancer

The 2009 Sea Ray 55 Sundancer is a twin-engine motor yacht with two staterooms and two heads. In 2022, the boat received two new FPT Marine diesel engines rated at 825 hp each—a significant upgrade from the original MANN engines—with 114 hours on them at the time of writing. Power generation comes from a 21.5 kW Onan diesel generator. The hardtop includes two independent retractable sunroofs and power side windows. Navigation and boat control are handled by dual Raymarine Hybrid Touch GS series color displays with GPS, plotter, radar, and autopilot, along with bow and stern thrusters for docking assistance.

The cockpit is arranged for entertaining, with an aft bench seating area, a carousel-style seating section with a high-gloss table and removable chairs, and a fully equipped wet bar that includes a sink, ice maker, refrigerator, and electric grill. The hardtop features a flat-screen TV, JL Audio speakers with the Fusion sound system, and teak flooring. A hydraulic swim platform and swim ladder provide water access. Below deck, the salon has rich dark cherry cabinetry, an L-shaped Ultraleather settee that converts to a bed, and entertainment shelving.

The galley is U-shaped and includes a three-burner electric stove, microwave convection oven, Sub Zero refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, and ample storage. The full-beam master stateroom features a queen-sized island-style bed with power actuation and massage function, a dresser, mounted flat-screen TV, and an ensuite head with enclosed shower. The forward VIP stateroom offers a queen berth, a walk-in closet, and access to a separate day head with shower. Additional systems include a 21.5 kW Onan generator, central vacuum, washer dryer combo, and a SeaFire automatic fire suppression system. Recent service work includes new air conditioning coils and compressors, shower and sink sump pumps, and battery installations completed in 2023 and 2024.
