The 2009 Tartan 4300 is a 43-foot fiberglass racer-cruiser with a fin keel, designed for both performance and comfortable cruising. Powered by a Volvo D2-55F diesel engine producing 56 horsepower, the yacht offers reliable propulsion for extended passages and coastal exploration. The hull design provides stability and responsive handling across a range of conditions.
The interior features a varnished cherry cabin with Ultra Leather upholstery in the main salon and one head. The accommodations are arranged to maximize comfort and usable space throughout the yacht's length.
This Tartan has been operated exclusively in fresh water over the past five seasons. The sailing plan includes a Novis carbon fiber spar with double roller furler in a Solent configuration, complemented by a Leisure furl in-boom mainsail furling system. Electric primary winches and an electric windlass simplify deck operations. Additional systems include a Northern Lights generator and air conditioning. A custom winter cover was added in 2020.
