2009 Tiara Yachts 3500 Sovran

This 2009 Tiara 3500 Sovran is a 35-foot fiberglass cruiser built on a wide 12'11" beam that maximizes interior volume and cockpit space. Twin Volvo Penta D4 IPS 300 diesels with joystick control provide 600 horsepower and deliver a cruising speed of 22.5 knots with a top speed of 28.6 knots. The boat is equipped with comprehensive Simrad electronics including dual NSS12 Evo2 plotters, NSX-7 multi-display, Open Array Halo Radar, autopilot, Vesper AIS, and Icom VHF. Navigation and helm controls also feature dual Simrad Plotters and a Tilt-Away helm console.

The interior is finished in teak with teak and holly flooring, arranged around a large open salon with a lounge/dinette, galley, and entertainment area. The forward stateroom has a pedestal berth with storage and overhead lockers, while the aft theater room converts to a full berth and includes a 32-inch flat-screen TV. A full head with fiberglass shower, Corian vanity, and Vacuflush toilet completes the sleeping and sanitary arrangements. Climate control throughout includes 26,000 BTU air conditioning with reverse cycle heat and an Onan generator.

Recent service work includes engine overhauls with new fuel coolers, raw water impellers, belts, and supercharger oils. The pods were laser-aligned and fully serviced, props tuned, and new AGM batteries installed. The Vacuflush head system was rebuilt with hoses replaced as needed, and all fire systems were serviced and certified. New bottom and pod paint were applied, boot stripes redone in Awlgrip, and the generator fully serviced with heat exchanger and raw water pump attention.

Additional features include a large swim platform with transom door, cockpit grill and fridge, underwater lights, Fusion stereo systems with upgraded speakers and subwoofer, and a Bose entertainment system in the cabin. The boat is outfitted for both weekend cruising and extended coastal passage.
