2009 Yellowfin 36 Offshore

The 2009 Yellowfin 36 Offshore is a center console fishing boat powered by three Mercury Verado engines totaling 1,050 horsepower. The 2015 and 2016 engines have approximately 990 hours and feature recently replaced trim units and seals. The hull is fiberglass and has been actively maintained, with all through-holes replaced with brass units within the past two years.

Navigation and electronics are comprehensive throughout the boat. The helm station includes a 24-inch Garmin display paired with a 10-inch Garmin and Garmin autopilot, plus an open array Garmin XHD radar. An upper station features an 8-inch Garmin in a NAVpod mounting with autopilot control. Additional electronics include Icom VHF radio, Fusion audio system with multiple speakers, Mercury VesselView 7 engine monitoring, and Garmin fishfinding equipment with R209 and B130 transducers and separate temperature sensor.

The boat is rigged for serious offshore fishing with dual live wells positioned under the rear bench and transom, insulated fish boxes on the bow, and rod holders distributed throughout the deck. Recent additions include new 12-volt cold plates installed under the front bench and coffin box, zero-degree rod holders on the bow, and freshly restrung outriggers and center pole riggers. A remote control spotlight and pop-up stainless cleats are installed. The fuel tanks were replaced with updated models by Yellowfin, and new house and start batteries (seven Odyssey AGM units) are fitted with onboard charging capability. A custom gooseneck trailer with custom mounts and a taller windscreen extending to the T-top is included.
